Wait for You Read-Along: Wait for You Trivia Questions

9:00 AM Vi Win Win 1 Comments

I hope everyone has been enjoying Wait For You. Whether it's your first time reading it, or your fifth, I think we can all agree that Cameron Hamilton is all kinds of awesome. The story itself came out at a time when that theme was rampant in the New Adult genre (when it was just starting out), and I think JLA handled it very well.

Anyways, the trivia questions for Wait For You are below. Feel free to answer them at your leisure. They will be up for the entirety of the read-along, but we will officially be starting Cam's novella, Trust in Me, on Monday.

I hope everyone has a great weekend. As always, if you have any questions, feel free to let me know in the comments section. Don't forget to join the FB group.

Happy reading!

If you're new the series, and the book we're reading this week, here's some information about it.

Traveling thousands of miles from home to enter college is the only way nineteen-year-old Avery Morgansten can escape what happened at the Halloween party five years ago—an event that forever changed her life. All she needs to do is make it to her classes on time, make sure the bracelet on her left wrist stays in place, not draw any attention to herself, and maybe—please God—make a few friends, because surely that would be a nice change of pace. The one thing she didn’t need and never planned on was capturing the attention of the one guy who could shatter the precarious future she’s building for herself.

Some things are worth experiencing…

Cameron Hamilton is six feet and three inches of swoon-worthy hotness, complete with a pair of striking blue eyes and a remarkable ability to make her want things she believed were irrevocably stolen from her. She knows she needs to stay away from him, but Cam is freaking everywhere, with his charm, his witty banter, and that damn dimple that’s just so… so lickable. Getting involved with him is dangerous, but when ignoring the simmering tension that sparks whenever they are around each other becomes impossible, he brings out a side of her she never knew existed.

Some things should never be kept quiet…

But when Avery starts receiving threatening emails and phone calls forcing her to face a past she wants silenced, she’s has no other choice but to acknowledge that someone is refusing to allow her to let go of that night when everything changed. When the devastating truth comes out, will she resurface this time with one less scar? And can Cam be there to help her or will he be dragged down with her?
And some things are worth fighting for…

We'll be reading WFY all week long and having fun discussions in the FB group as well as tweeting fave lines/quotes on Twitter. Don't miss out and remember to check back here on Deity Island on Friday for the Google Form with WFY trivia questions for you to answer. Let me know if you have any questions. Happy reading!

Jennifer L. Armentrout NEW Book Deal News

1:10 PM Vi Win Win 1 Comments

JLA just announced that she has inked a book deal for a new series from HarperCollins that will be published in 2018!

”NYT bestselling author Jennifer L. Armentrout’s MOONLIGHT SINS, the first in a new romantic suspense series, in which a young woman takes a caretaker job at the mansion of an infamous wealthy family known as “the Kennedys of the South” and finds herself pulled into a web of secrets, rumors–and murder, to Tessa Woodward at Avon, in a three-book deal, by Kevan Lyon at Marsal Lyon Literary Agency (World English)."

How exciting!!!!

Here's some more information about the series:

Some people believe that there are gateways to hell all around the world, tainting the land and cursing anyone who dares to build there. The de Vincent Mansion, home to one of the wealthiest and oldest families in America is rumored to be such a place. For all the riches and power in the world, the blue-blood family has been plagued with insanity, strange and unexpected deaths, odd disappearances, and even rumors of cold-blooded murder.

On the surface, the darkly handsome de Vincent brothers have only lived a life of extreme privilege. The three of them: Devlin, Gabriel, and Lucian attended the most prestigious private schools and colleges, drove only the fanciest and fastest cars, dated the most beautiful women from all around the world, and one day would control a vast and powerful fortune. Their wild and primitive ways rightfully earned them the nicknames of Devil, Demon, and Lucifer. Nicknames that appeared terrifyingly fitting, because beyond the lavish grounds of the de Vincent mansion, behind the marble columns and underneath the opulent quarters, it is said the home is haunted, and the secrets and sins of generations past fester, rotting the family from the inside out.
Where superstition runs rampant, it is rumored that those ghosts drove their mother to leap from the roof of their home on a stormy, summer night—the same night Madeline, their sister, disappeared, no one knows if she is dead or alive. All of this gives credence to the belief that there is something very evil that prowls the grounds there, but for the de Vincent family, their demons are very much flesh and blood.
These guys are bad.

And these guys are really, really good at being bad.

I don't know about you, but I'm very excited about this. JLA writes the best paranormal.

Fire in You (Wait for You #6) Cover Change

1:06 PM Vi Win Win 0 Comments

Hi, JLanders!!!

So sorry for being MIA. I really need to be better at updating this fansite and keeping all your JLA lovers informed. I'm working on it!

Anyways, if you haven't already seen, Fire in You (Wait for You #6), has gotten a cover makeover.

(Old)

(New)

What do you think?

Jen is self-publishing this final installment in the Wait for You series, so she heard that the readers wanted the cover to match the others in the series a bit more, and she delivered. Also, the release date was pushed back again to November 28th, which is a bummer, but it is what it is. The good news is that it give me plenty of time to plan the next Deity Island Readalong (details to come)!

Jen has a pre-order incentive going on right now as well, where if you pre-order and submit your receipt, you will get an exclusive scene that features POVs from all of the other couples in the series. Submit your proof here.
