Jennifer's New Sekrit Project Teaser

5:00 PM Vi Win Win 2 Comments

Ever the tease, Jen gives fans little taste of a sekrit project she's working on.

Here's what she first had to say about it:

So I was about to start Sentinel, but that's on hold for a very short time for brand new spanking idea that I had to start, because it wouldn't leave me alone, and I had to put it down on paper, and I currently want to hug it and love it and hopefully that feeling lasts. I'm not going to say much about it, but I will say that the guy? Yeah, he's quickly becoming my favorite.

Last week she posted this picture of some of the characters in her sekrit project.

Looking good, right?!

Here's a teaser scene Jen posted today:

Heart pounding, I gripped his arms. “You kissed me.” “That wasn’t a kiss,” he murmured against my lips. Shivers danced down my spine and raced over my skin. "Nope. Not at all." My fingers were digging through his shirt and into his tight skin. “Then what was that?” He pulled back just a little, resting his forehead against mine. His lashes lowered, fanning his cheeks. “That was a 'good morning.'”

Doesn't that make you go "Awwwwww..." I swooned!

Color me intrigued! Who else is super excited to know more?!

A New Apollyon Teaser

3:00 PM Vi Win Win 1 Comments

Jen has started writing Sentinel, the final book in the Covenant series. Yay! She also thought it would be nice to tease the fans with a snippet from Apollyon. Dying for this book!

Absolute power—unforgiving and hard, pure as it was deadly— coursed over my skin. I reared back, summoning the fifth and final element. Intense blue light erupted from my palm. Akasha ripped from me, arcing through the air like cloud-to-cloud lightning, homing in on its target and striking true. The sky crackled and heated. One second, the automaton was on his knee, and the next he was nothing but a pile of shimmery dust. “Good gods,” came Olivia’s hoarse whisper. Another automaton took the fallen one’s place, swinging out with a metal hand that clinked and clicked. Fire sparked from its open mouth. I spun, catching the broad side of his arm and twisting. The hoarse shout of pain was lost in the clash of metal, the thunder of bullets finding another automaton. It raised its bull face and snapped at me with massive jaws. “Please.” I placed my hand on the massive forehead. Blue light coursed over the head and down the body, lightening up the metallic skull and bone structure. For a moment, it was like a pretty x-ray or a jellyfish—a really disturbing jellyfish—and then cobalt light radiated from its eyes and open mouth. It imploded—caved in on itself, turning to nothing but dust. And then the crap really hit the fan. The automatons—every last one of the freaky bull things—turned on me. They moved quickly, metal legs rattling and clinking. Fire spewed from their mouths like the poor man’s version of a dragon. They came from all directions, Apollyon-seeking missiles with “Kill Alex” stamped all over them. Fire came from them, blinding and intense. Nothing existed outside the flames. No sound. No sight. My world was red and orange... And my world was tinted in amber. Alex? His voice came through the thrumming connection. I ignored him and the way his consciousness slid in alongside mine. What are you up to?

Origin & Obsession Teasers

10:40 AM Vi Win Win 1 Comments

And the teasers just keep on rolling in!

First up we've got a teaser from Origin (Lux #4) in Daemon's POV! Sqeeeee!!!

All the pent up, helpless rage formed a wrecking ball inside of me. Maintaining human form was near impossible. I wanted to hit something—destroy something. I needed to. “Daemon, no one—” “Shut up,” I said, turning to where Matthew sat in the corner of the room. Right this moment I wanted to destroy him. “Just shut the hell up.”

Next up is a few tweet teasers from Obsession.

I agree, Poseidon's got nothing on Aiden!

So, are you guys dying to get your hands on Apollyon like me too?!

And Then There's This Origin Teaser Here, Too!

8:42 PM Vi Win Win 3 Comments

With the Opal book release just days away, and the ebooks are already out and MANY have read it (sigh...still waiting), Jen thought it was cool to give fans a teaser from the 4th book in the Lux series, Origin:

“As close as you’re riding me, man, I feel like I need to take you out to dinner or something. At least, I should get your name.” He punched in a floor number, smirking. “People call me Archer.”

Way to make me wish I could time travel to the future and get this book right now! LOL!

Thoughts on this new character, Archer?!

Obsession Teaser

8:14 PM Vi Win Win 1 Comments

Because Jen likes to mess with our heads, she teased fans with a little snippet from her upcoming novel, Obsession, which focuses around the Arum characters from her Lux series.

“Not all of their kind came to Earth when our planets were destroyed. Tens of thousands are here, but there are hundreds of thousands out there. They will come eventually.” “And?” she asked, her arms loosening and falling to her sides. “And humans will be glad that there are Arums on this planet when that day comes.”

Want to know more about Obsession? Check out Jen's Obsession page!

What do you think of this teaser? Dying to know more?!

JLA Reading Challenge for December #JLARC

12:00 AM Vi Win Win 2 Comments

Welcome to the LAST MONTH of the JLA Reading Challenge!

If you have no clue what this is or would like to participate, check out the Sign-Up page where you can get all the details.

If you're already a participant, let's get this started!

This month's goal will be to read Tempting the Best Man (Remember, TtBM is only in ebook format, so make sure you have something to read it with).

Madison Daniels has worshipped her brother's best friend since they were kids. Everyone thinks she and Chase Gamble would make the perfect couple, but there are two major flaws in their logic. 1) Chase has sworn off relationships of any kind, and 2) after blurring the line between friends and lovers for one night four years ago, they can't stop bickering. Forced together for her brother's wedding getaway, Chase and Madison decide to call a truce for the happy couple. Except all bets are off when they're forced to shack up in a tacky 70’s honeymoon suite and survive a multitude of "accidents" as the family tries to prove their "spark" can be used than for more than fighting. That is, if they don't strangle each other first.

*OR*

If you're unable to read TtBM (can't read ebooks) or want to read other JLA books, I've got a special treat for you this month! You can read TtBM and review it for an entry into this month's giveaway, but you can also read and review (it has to be a new review posted in December) ANY of Jen's books and as long as you follow the rules, you can enter that link into the giveaway linky below. That's right! So if you want to (re)read any of Jen's books that are out in the wild right now, just post a NEW review to your blog, Amazon, Goodreads, or B&N. Easy peasy!

Your Tasks:

1. Start reading! You have all month to read the book and don't worry if you can't finish it on time. Have some fun!
2. You have until the end of the month, December 31st, to post your review or (if you reviewed a book in the past) post your thoughts about reading it again. Remember, you can post to your Blog, Amazon, Goodreads, Barnes & Noble, or Facebook.
3. Add your link to the Linky below. Each review/post for each book counts as one entry. Only entries for the Featured Book(s) of the Month will count towards this month's giveaway. I will leave it open for THREE days after this for those who can't link up in time, but only post links for that month, please.

Your Prize:

 - One winner will receive a Paperback copy of Opal
 - One winner will receive a pack of SIGNED bookmarks (one of each of her book covers so far, + a Daemon Invasion bookmark = eight total), Cursed stickers, & a Deity guitar pick
 - One winner will receive a SIGNED Half-Blood poster and a SIGNED Daimon bookmark

*Winners are chosen at RANDOM from the Linky List as long as they followed the rules/guidelines*

*REMEMBER: In order to be eligible to win prizes, you MUST add your link to the original SIGN UP linky list in addition to your link below.*

*I'll also be hosting another JLA Live Author Chat sometime this month to talk about all things Deity, Elixir, & Opal! Be on the lookout for your chance to submit questions for Jen! (Remember, only submitted questions will be answered accordingly.)*

Now, show me some TtBM/JLA Book love!
